2 snowballs plus 2 snowballs equals a math lesson
With a nod to the predicted winter storm in our area, public school was cancelled. Which makes those of us who homeschool just a little annoyed. It's hard to teach "changing improper fractions to whole and mixed numbers" while your child's best buddy is sledding down the hill right outside your window.
The snow never materialized but by the early afternoon I was able to release the kids into their boots and send them out to play.
The gang was back together and Isaiah now knows that you always divide the denominator into the numerator.

That was a nice little no snow day for everyone else. Numerator/Denominator. Got it.
