If You Can't Beat 'em You Better Learn to Swim

A lot of the kids who come to live with us don't know how to swim. I rarely have to teach them, they just learn by being in the pool every day. Last year Troy was a little timid, but this year he really really wanted to play with the sisters in the deep end. He did it! Go Troy!

Awesome! Go Troy.

I remember you giving us this advice when the kids were small - and it really has worked out to be the best way to learn to swim - with supervision of course!

I have a question about how you do videos - do you have to upload them to your computer first or can you go directly from a video camera to your computer? Or do you have one of those awesome cool cameras that burn the video directly on DVD?
I have tape - and am trying to figure it out - it is a hassle to upload them - cause you basically have to do it twice!

Julie - I take my videos on my digital camera. I take my memory card out, put it in my comuter and dump everything into Picasa. I upload from Picasa to photobucket which shares with Blogger. I hardly ever use my video camera any more cuz cameras do such a good job.
Tell Kullen the water is warmer now!!

Good for Troy. In some families not swimming is not an option!

Looks good enough to play in the deep end to me! Way to go, Troy.
